About 100 Norco/Hydrocodone tablets
In September I hired Shon Bridwell to clean my home once per week. I paid in advance and she was paid up until the end of October.
Several weeks ago my father was in the hospital for a week. When he got out he was having anxiety problems.
In early October my father had a plate in his room that had multiple rolls of collector coins on it. Shon called me into his room one day while cleaning and pointed it out to me. She told me she was putting it in his drawer so it wouldnt get stolen. She then showed me the change she had pulled out of my dads clothes. She seemed to be over-explaining herself but I blew it off.
A few days later two of the rolls of coins disappeared. When I told Shon about this she immediately began saying that my other neighbor or someone else must have done it. She then reminded me multiple times that she had shown me all of dads change before and wanted to make sure I knew she was honest. She said the same thing multiple times to my father.
My father was very upset. He had been collecting the coins for over 10 years. He then put the coins in a bag and put it under the seat of his pickup.
This last week he noticed the bag of coins was gone from his truck. There are three people who have been inside his pickup; me, my father, and Shon Bridwell.
When Dad said something to Shon about the missing coins she again went on and on about how he knew that she would never steal and repeated it over and over again. Dad had gone to his hometown for two days and got his truck washed. When he mentioned getting his truck washed Shon immediately began saying how they had to have been stolen by the carwash people though dad only had the outside of the truck washed.
Shon also insinuated multiple times that one of my other neighbors must have stolen the coins because she has a key to my home. This neighbor has been in my house multiple times alone to feed my dogs when we were gone or on vacation and I have never had one thing stolen.
This last weekend Shon stayed in my home to take care of my dad and my daughter so that I could go out for the evening.
That night my daughter, we'll call her "R", also became very upset because two of our dogs were fighting. She had quite a meltdown and was crying and being dramatic. My dad sent her to her room. Shon called me on my boyfriends phone and told me about this meltdown. I told her to just leave her in her room.
Not long after Shon took her purse to my dad and stated she caught my daughter in her purse that was in my bedroom. She claimed she had just cashed a $100 check and that she had proof of this because the envelope from the bank only had her license and not the money. Dad offered to give her $100 believing her story.
The next day Shon told me the same story when I got home. This was very out of character for my daughter but I slightly believed her. I told her that I would investigate and if "R" had taken it, I would pay her back. She went on and on once again showing us the empty envelope and wanted to make sure we saw the time stamp on the receipt from the bank. The story seemed very elaborate.
Then Shon went on to tell me that when R went to her room that night that she grabbed a large butcher knife and barricaded herself into her room. She claimed my dad was already asleep and didnt want to wake him. So of course there were no witnesses. She made the story very dramatic by saying her son, Luke, had seen the knife and begged her to lock my bedroom door because he was so scared of R.
Saturday night I talked to R alone. Money burns a hole in her pocket so I asked her if she wanted to go shopping on Sunday. I then asked if she had any of her allowance money left over to spend at the mall. If she had stolen it she would have told me she had money to spend. We went to the mall on Sunday and she only spent $20 which was what I had given her when we got there.
I also talked to R about the knife that Shon claimed she took to her room. My daughter was appalled and very upset. She wanted me to fire Shon immediately and call her so she could tell her she was a liar. She also wanted to confront her in person. My daughter would never want to do this if she were the one lying.
Last night after realizing all of the other problems seem to circle around Shon Bridwell I thought I should check my medicine box below my sink in my room. I had two bottles of Norco in there. One was full and one was maybe full. I last saw them last week but now they are both completely gone.
Norco is a narcotic pain medication. It is basically a stronger form of Vicodin. There are multiple manufacturers that make the generic form of Norco which is called Hydrocodone. My pills are light yellow and have a V on one side. The other brands do not have a V on them.
I have a disabling neurological condition that requires me to take narcotic pain medication to manage along with other nerve medications. I do not take Norco very often which is why there were so many in my bathroom.
So now all of my fathers collection of coins is gone. Two bottles of Norco are gone. And to top it off she tried to scam me out of another $100 claiming that my daughter stole the first $100 I gave her to do my windows. She never completed the windows. Some of the interior ones were done. Now she is lying stating that it rained on all of them and thats why they are still dirty. Every day she was supposed to do the windows there was another excuse. Im also out an extra $100 because I paid her in full through the end of October which she is now lying about stating I didnt pay her for the entire month. I can obtain copies of the checks if needed that show the amounts I have paid and when they were paid.
There is a report on usacomplaints.com that I found online from a lady that she was going to work with from last year. The report lists thousands of dollars in cash and items that she had stolen from her as well. I am printing it for this report.
Two weeks ago I believe she pulled another scam on the hair salon in Wal-Mart. She got her hair permed there and the lady there did fry her hair. Shon wanted me to help her get her money back. Several days went by while she conversed with their corporate office. She told me that she had used her husbands credit card to pay for getting her hair done. When she decided she wanted to go up there to get the money back she had a new story.
Her new story was that not only had she used the credit card but that the manager kept ringing everything up incorrectly so she offered to pay in cash. She went to the ATM and got that amount out in cash and had the ATM receipt for this but no sales receipt showing cash. Her only sales receipt showed a credit card.
She claimed that the manager told her that she voided the credit card receipt and took cash. When we spoke to the salon and corporate while there they said there is no cash receipt or voided cash receipt. There was only a credit card receipt. Their registers were $9 over the day she got her hair done. They were not $150 over.
I did see the ATM receipt from the ATM machine. Honestly now I believe that too was a scam. She had intentionally taken money out of the ATM and planned on claiming that all these mistakes happened because of the managers incompetence. I think she in the end got a credit on the credit card but I dont think they have given her cash. They did say they had loss prevention involved. I truly hope that the manager at the hair salon did not lose her job because of Shon Bridwell. I think the entire mess was premeditated now after seeing all the other problems that surface when she is involved.
She has sent many text messages to me today. Her husband had been doing some work at my home today and I told him what was going on. I asked him if she had ever done this before and he said not that he knows of but he did not take up for her at all. He seemed fine with everything when I told him that I had fired her today.
Im not sure what can be done about the stolen coins or the Norco.
I know that Shon takes Norco for some condition. The last few days she had been very hyper and in past days I have noticed the same thing. I rarely saw her put the pills in her mouth so Im not sure how many she takes or what else she takes.
Im very embarrassed that I didnt catch on to this person sooner. I hope no one else does. Please, stay away from her. No one person is this "unlucky" as the other person who reported her stated.
