Direct Commerce Academy scammed me of $147.21. DCA website advertises that for $2.97 fee you can obtain information on homebased online business.
Nothing was mentioned about a $139.95 fee. I was notified by VISA in October 5 that I my card was charged $139.95 on Setp 14 and international service fee of $ 4.29 Sep 15.
Their call center agent told me that they will refund my money but they did not. I called again on Oct 15 and the call center agent said DCA will refund only $40 because I did not cancel within 5 days.
I was not even aware that I will be charged for $ 139.95 so why on earth would I call to cancel?
DCA is a scam. The call center agent will not even give a physical address except to say that DCA operates in the US and uses an international bank. DCA might even be engaged in money laundering.
Everyone. Beware of direct commerce academy. It is a scam.
