I signed up with Simplx on Friday February 5. After I got my log on information and viewed what I had subscribed to I was very dissatisfied. All their program does is allow their members to buy off of retail websites like target.com and get a rebate for their purchases. This could result could also be achieved for free through a site like ebates.com.

I was told someone would call me that night to set up the training included in the package. I never received a call to set up the training. The contract I agreed to when I signed up included a seven day refund clause. Since I was dissatisfied with the program I sent an email through their website saying I wanted to cancel on February 6. The message was as follows: I want to cancel and I want a refund. Questions I directly asked the person who called me were answered dishonestly to misrepresent what I singed up for. I never received a response to that message so I filed a chargeback with my bank on February 9 to protect my right to cancel within seven days.

On February 12 Simplx charged my credit card again for their monthly fee even though I had canceled six days earlier. I filed a second chargeback with my bank since this was an unauthorized charge and canceled my card.

On April 23 I received a letter from my bank stating both chargebacks were denied along with the supporting documentation provided by Simplx.in reviewing these documents to understand why I was denied my refund the reason given was Inv & unspprtd. I believe that means invalid and unsupported, but all the documents that I would need to support my claim were the supporting documents supplied by Simplx. Those documents included my account history where it shows that I canceled my membership within the first seven days, my account status was canceled, and my card was still charged a second time after all of that.

Now my bank account has incurred bank charges due to the retraction of the temporary credits issued.

My second method to was to contact the Better Business Bureau. I contacted them on May 5 and filed a complaint.

The complaint was: I signed up for their service on February 5 and paid $149.00. The contract stated I had seven days to cancel. I sent an email saying "I want to cancel and I want a refund. Questions I directly asked the person who called me were answered dishonestly to misrepresent what I was signing up for." They received the email on February 10.instead of canceling my subscription they charged my card again on February 12 for the monthly subscription fee of $38.62. I have written verification provided by Simplx that confirms these facts.

I still have not received a refund from them.
