I purchased a Maytag dishwasher in April. It worked for 20 washes, and then the computer panel stopped working in January. I called for service immediately, and got a weekend service scheduled a month later, February. The service woman stated the dishwasher computer panels have a problem with humidity and that it costs several hundred dollars to replace them. Mine was still under warranty, and I complained enough to get an extended warranty. However, the same thing has happened again. I only got 8 more washloads out of it before the panel broke down again. Service couldn't be scheduled for 7 weeks (June 8th is soonest date) because the "expert" they want to look at the machine isn't available on weekends or evenings. I paid $549 for this machine, plus an additional $139.99 for delivery and installation. It was far too much money to have nothing more than a dish drying rack, which is all this machine is good for.
