Dynamics International AKA Trek Alliance Major Ripoff. Chicago Job seekers Beware!

I am actively seeking work and thought I would check out Dynamics
International. I received a call Wednesday October 3 and talked with woman named Galadrial who I thought was an HR recruiter at Dynamics International.

She called me and explained that Dynamics International is a brokerage firm and that there were many positions available. I was told that their focus is in the healthcare and fitness industries. She was impressed with my background and asked me to show up for a meeting at 12:50.

As it turns out, I was misled into a meeting this afternoon believing it was for various positions available at Dynamics International in Palatine, IL located at the Harris Bank Building off Northwest Highway. To my dismay, I ended up in an hour and a half meeting heavily focused on a sales pitch to persuade me to invest in their materials, a trip to Kansas City and a (next day) Saturday conference for $250. I was treated rudely and never even met with Galadrial. The aspect of this job search experience that upsets me most is the fact that I was told that the company was Dynamics International when in actuality I found out that the company is Trek Alliance... Then to discover complaints about this company on usacomplaints.com.Com.

I also fell into one of these meetings when I was fresh out of college. At the time, the company was Equinox with a meeting
location in Dallas.in that case I lost a lot more time. I drove an hour and a half in the middle of a blazing Texas summer to find out that the position was not focused on marketing but focused on sales requiring investments.

For some sales oriented people, this type of sales pitch may be acceptable but I do not appreciate being misled and I will not work for a company utilizing such recruitment approaches. Is there any way we can put an end to this type of company misrepresentation for job seekers (especially college
graduates who are more vulnerable in what is like a party atmosphere)? I feel this job lead was such a waste of my time and I will never respond to blind job leads or phone calls without researching the company on the Internet or at the library.
