Complaint / Review
Outdoor-Headquarters
Procuct not shipped, no return calls or email

I ordered a pair of boots from this company on November 15. They charged payment to my card the same day. My order has been in "pending shipment" status since this date. I have repeated tried to contact this company by email and by phone with no avail. They do not return emails and when I call them all I get is an answering machine telling me to leave a message and they will return my phone call ASAP. Never have I gotten a call from them.

I contacted Lacrosse boots on November 25 to see if they could get me any information on what the hold up was. I was informed that they did have the boots in stock, 142prs, but that they could not ship them until Outdoor Headquarters confirmed payment. So here it was 10 days after they took payment and yet they have not confirmed it with the manufacturer in order to ship. The cusomer service rep I spoke to in turn sent email to the Outdoor Headquarters in order to get confirmation and still nothing from this company.

After back and forth emailing with Lacrosse they had also exhausted all of their avenues of contact and they said that they could put in a cancellation for my order and to watch my credit card if I did not recieve credit for it from Outdoor Headquarters to let Lacrosse know. Lacrosse sent them a cancellation/refund request and I did the same via email. Nothing. As of Dec 11 I have yet to get a refund or recieve my product. Outdoor Headquarters has still not contacted me. My order is still in "pending shipment" status after repeated requestes from both myself and Lacrosse to cancel it. I have recieved a copy of the order cancellation and request from Lacrosse as proof for my credit card company and have turned this company in to them. I have also filed a report with the BBB of Georgia and in doing so have found there to be many unsatisfied customers for the same reasons.

I have emailed Outdoor headquarters informing them of the institutions that I have turned them into and am hoping that I will not have to contact a lawyer (thank god there is one in the family).

I would highly suggest anyone thinking of doing business with these people to think again. I have also myself learned a valueable lesson and will be researching all companies I am thinking of doing business with via internet in the future. Lesson learned.
