We signed a contract with DirectBuy thinking we would be saving money on many items we needed to buy; we specifically asked about sets of tires and athletic equipment. I now realize that while it may be possible to save money over and above the thousands of dollars membership in DirectBuy costs, it would only be if you were doing a very extensive remodeling of your home.in our case, it was a very foolish move. Not only could we not get any savings on the tires we were told they carry (they in fact have a vendor who has the tires, so obviously not at wholesale price) but after frustrating and fruitless search of their website found we would be interested in virtually nothing that they had on offer. We asked to have our contract canceled and of course were refused. I would counsel anyone not to join impulsively as we did (you have to make the decision on the spot, no thinking it over) unless you go on line and read of others' experience with this outfit.
