This website is referenced on several others. The site looks legitimate. The site advertizes software to enable one to apply for federal grants. A fee of $29.95 is required to have to software sent to an address provided by you.
In fact there is no software and the fee of $29.95 is a monthly charge which is non-refundable as soon as you catch on to the scam. Luckily it only took me 2 months. When I called "customer service" to ask why nothing had been sent and I why I had been charged again for the second month. I was told that there was no software or packet being sent. The grant information is web-based and the charge is monthly. I was given a password and user ID by the customer service person which would enable me to log on to the site. I cancelled the "membership" which was never divulged. When I asked about a credit for the two months of charges I was told there would be no credit issued because they could not determine if I had logged on and used the information. I made the wasted point that the customer service representative had just given me my password for the first time and it was certainly easy to determine whether or not I had ever logged back on to the site. The point was, of course, lost as is my fee of 2 month at $29.95.
It certainly doesn't matter to e-commerce or anyone as the scamming company but I have made my last online purchase of anything.
