After more than 100 years of family business (Amica is 100 years old), I was shafted by Amica. Amica has both my home and auto insurance. There was a discrepancy with my auto insurance in the way it read at the registry. I was with Amica and took regular insurance.in SPITE OF the fact they have never before written many business policies, I did what the RMV advised, had them list that I used to do business with my car. I no longer do that and asked AMica to rewrite my policy which they agent told me I could not do. Now, they advertise MANY times a day - MANY because they are desperate for new business. SO, they took my auto insurance and rewrote the policy un beknowns to me to be a $5000 a year policy with NO advance notice just a rude yelling agent who told me what they would be doing and hung up on me. Her name is Florence and she should be fired. Amica is no longer nice and sweet. They are totally rude, desperate for your money and picked on one of their loyal and longtime customers. I even sold them to other friends. No more. Don't evear use amica. The registry and the dealership agreed. After today, I will be leaving Amica and will be telling the insurance commissioner (recommeded by the RMV that I do that) and AMica will have to answer. I will tell everyone on the internet or wherever I can find people interested in insurance. This ALLLL happened because I scratched someone's car and was honest and reported it just as a report not as anything else. I don't want anything I told them. Just enter it as a report.By the way, I would like to write this on every single website possible. How do I do that so that noone else gets as hurt as I am? I cannot afford their bill and they will see me in court. Money will not come out of my account because I warned my bank and will warn the credit card company. If they try to get it, I will get them for stealing, if they take money from me. I will not be able to pay my mortgage and condo fee if they take the money in March. I will get rid of them on Monday the latest. They are a terrible terrible company
