I placed an order from USA Beauty Supplies and had it shipped ground knowing I had enough time to get it before I left for my Iceland vacation. I waited for my order for 5 days then contacted USA Beauty Supplies to see if my order had shipped.
I received a reply stating: Hi, Sorry to tell you that, the products you have ordered is temporarily out of stock, and will not be in until tomorrow. Even if we process it and ship it tomorrow (Tuesday the 3rd), it may not get there by Friday, unless we change it to "UPS 3 Day Select". To be on the safe side, I would recommend "2nd day Air". Please let us know what to do.

I then replied: how much more would that be? And they did not reply. The very next day I received a shipping notice that my item had now been shipped ground and I was never even allowed to pay the difference to get it shipped 2nd day Air.
I wrote them and said: Because you still shipped ground knowing I was leaving is just bad business you knew I needed this. I even agreed to pay more to get the item on time (see below) in my first email asking what the additional charges would be for me and didn't get a reply. You did not tell me that it was back ordered until I inquired why it had not been received yet. I will not do business with your company again. You should always state whether or not an item is available for the simple reasons I have presented above. I would have ordered somewhere else had I known it was on back order. Now I have to buy at a salon if it does not come by Thursday. If that happens I will be shipping the items back to you and I will expect you to pay for the return shipping out of courtesy.
USA Beauty Supplies then replied with a nasty email stating:
Hi, We were trying to help you by shipping it via US PS Priority, by paying extra shipping charge and NOT charging you for it. But, since you are not happy at all so far, we are canceling your order and reversing the charge back to your CC. You may purchase it anywhere you please.

According to the shipping invoice I received, (see below) the product was definitely coming UPS Ground, not PS Priority. I found them to be rude and unsympathetic to me, the customer and did not tell me they were going to help get the items shipped sooner nor did they give me the opportunity to pay the extra shipping cost. I do not believe they were sending the product sooner. They only sent the reply the next day in hopes of making me feel bad for stating good business practices to them. They are not for the customer nor do they state upon purchase that their items are NOT IN STOCK when you buy them. Therefore you wait and do not receive your items in the time frame that you have paid shipping for. The invoice is below the names withheld:
