I too have had a problem cancelling the auto renewal with Trend Micro, it is a big run around scheme. If you do not catch the auto-renewal quickly, you will have difficulty getting rid of the charges. I am sick and tired of these auto-renewals. What gives these companies the right to auto renew??? It is a bunch of BS, because they know consumers are busy and that they can get away with these sneaky schemes to make money.
IT SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW FOR CHARGES ON OUR CREDIT CARDS FOR AUTO RENEWAL WITHOUT OUR EXPRESSED CONSENT & the companies should have to give at least 30 day mailed notice... Not emailed, since it might go to spam, but through the mail, and with a formal approval by the consumer to accept the upcoming renewal. LET'S COMPLAIN and get a lawyer to intiate this procedure if it is not on the books already. Thank you.
