I recently placed an order for lace wig adhesive from Lynelle's Lace Wigs. Because I needed these supplies before my Christmas vacation, I paid $25.00 for the overnight shipping. I placed my order on 18 Dec 08 around 1:00 pm but did not receive my product until TWO days later (20 Dec 08).
I advised the company via email of my discontent and requested a refund for shipping. The company replied that there was a message on the website noting overnite delivery would not be available the day I ordered my supplies. The note in question was on the page for lace wigs (not the main page, not undering shipping notes, and not on the page for ordering accessories). Additionally, the company says I should have chosen the option to have my supplies shipped via FEDEX, but upon checkout, that option wasn't even available.
Because I ordered my supplies and paid for overnight shipping, I think I should have been refunded the $25 I paid for a service I did not receive. After checking other chat rooms and blogs, I've since learned that this is not an isolated incident. Previous transactions I'd had with Lynelle's were smooth, as I didn't need anything in a hurry nor did I have to contact the company. I think this company is ok to deal with unless you have issues. The customer service is poor and the logistical operations are truly lacking.
I've chalked this loss of $25 up to a simple lesson learned. I hope that by reading this I can save someone else the heartache and inconveience. I have since found several other quality vendors for lace wigs that I will now use.
