When Vicky Mosevich took over Naperville Pet Sitting I was starting to think that she was either not letting my dogs out and just writing a note, or letting them out WAY too early. My dogs were always good in their cages and I noticed a change when I would come home and their cages would be full of urine. I also noticed my dogs were eating their feces which they never did before. I explained to Vicky that she needed to come between 12 and 1 (which was the time she was hired for) because I was having to clean their cages when I got home. She said that it was odd because she was coming on time.
A couple weeks later I was home sick and didn't call Vicky yet to notify her that I wasn't needing her that day. I figured I had time since she didn't come till Noon/1pm. At 10am my front door opened and Vicky and her daughter came in. She was very shocked that I was at home and was nervous because she was there so early. She didn't know what to say then blurted out that her daughter had a doctors apt. And she had to come early. I didn't really believe her, but I didn't have any proof. I was honestly VERY upset that she would even bring her daughter into my home with 2 dogs. My dogs are very friendly, but you never know what can happen... And I would rather NOT find out.
A couple months later I stayed home for 3 days and decided that I wasn't going to tell her. I stayed upstairs, noted the times she would come (between 10-10:30) and how long she was there (between 4-6 min) She wasn't even the one who would let my dogs out, it was her little daughter that would hold them by their collar and hook them onto the stake. (It now made a lot of sense to me why my youngest dog was so afraid of children.) As soon as the dogs would be outside, Vicky would be done writing her one line note "They both went #1 and #2 and we played outside"... When in fact they were both still on the deck because Vicky was shaking the bag of treats so they would come in right away. One of my dogs let out a cry to come in for the treat without going to the bathroom and she yelled "SHUT UP!" She would then leave and then go next door and do the same thing to my neighbors.
I confronted her about this (not mentioning that it was three days I witnessed this behavior) and she said that the day before she had come early because she had an apt. And had to come early. I asked what about the other 2 days, and she denied everything. I fired her that day.
I cannot believe that I trusted her with my dogs, a key to my home, and my security code. Her one responsibility is to let dogs out while people are not at home, and she can't even do that. It's very convenient for her to get away with doing nothing and claiming she's there for 20-25 minutes since we trusted her to be there when their not around. I look back at how much money she took from us during that year (around $3500) for doing absolutely nothing. She did the same thing to my neighbors and I'm sure she's done it to you!
I feel horrible for my dogs. My poor dogs that would sit in their urine filled cages all day because she has ZERO work ethic. To think... Her website states "Her pets are her life." I feel VERY sorry for those animals.
