I just find this disturbing. Very gypsy-like characters hanging around these mall huts selling various useless crap for A LOT of money by using very sleasy, very agressive selling techniques. All huts seem to be operated by Israeli young kids. Sometimes remotely good looking girls. I'm Jewish myself, so no prejudice here. At one hut they were selling this Dead Sea skin cream with some nail polishing crap. Cream is not different from the 2.99 stuff somewhere else. Nail stuff you can get anywhere too... A kit for couple of bucks. Prices at these huts are about $50-60 for anything.
At another hut they were selling aroma therapy heating pads, which I sort of liked (minus them grabbing me to try it), but then I remembered you can get these for like $10-15, they were asking $40.
Another hut had these sheet metal things that are cut and then bent that you hang up, and they spin and look kinda cool. The thing is they were asking $50, and it's a piece of stamped sheet metal. I remember seeing exactly the same thing in Cozumel tourist trap (no discount there) for about $10. Which I thought although kinda expensive (considering it's a small hunk of sheet metal sold to you in Mexico) was reasonable for a tourist trap.
Another hut had Slideys... F*&king SLIDEYS!!! The piece of bullsh! T from 1979. It's that worm looking thing with an invisible string attached to it. You can make it look like it's alive and crawl and jump, it's a trick. Imagine paying $12 for something with of value of 5 Q-tips. People at King of Prussia mall sat around with their kids and watched the show the sales crook was putting on with the damn slidey. Afterh the show I saw these things fly out at $12 each. I think Toys-R Us has them for like 99 cents. But I think this is where customers have more money than brains...
These are owned run by someone else, Israelis most likely. I believe they get these kids after millitary in Israel. Kids want to travel but have no money, so they hit US for a quick buck (working illegaly here of course). And they dont care how sleasy they have to act here so long as they make some money and get to go screw off somewhere in South America for a while after the millitary.
I've been ripped off by an Israeli run moving company. I contained the damage, the moving guys ruined the owner's scam somewhat. My stuff got damaged somewhat and I ended up paying about 40% more for the move. And they didnt pick up about 20% of the load, had to U-haul the rest myself. There are tons of them and tons in Miami. LOWLIFE SCUM!!! Please check those reports here on Rip Offs.com. Just put in Israeli moving scams. I think these huts with their inflated bullsh! T for sale are sort of a different species in the same family. Same principle, different scam by the same set of assholes.
I have never been to a mall in US (and I've been to a bunch, as much as I move around) that doesn't have one or more of these sh! Tbuckets in it. I dont know if it's the kids that work there or the sleezebag owners who must be training them. They are really trained like little doggies to aggressively sell this overinflated junk.
My strong advice to all is to AVOID anything and anyone at these mall huts with Israeli accent. Ask them... interestingly they dont hide they're Israeli.
One thing... Please dont judge ALL Israelis based on few of these scumbags. They are an embarrassment. I'm sure they will be dealt with in time... Like bugs...
