I just received my 9/26/08 bill from AT&T phone services with an additional "current charges" for $12.95 from ROCKET COMM SVCS-EFAX & VMAIL. MTH FEE
i called AT&T and the representative plus a supervisor were of no help whatever.
They decline to provide an AT&T ID other than the names Joyce and Cathy in the Northern California "location" of AT&T. I questioned the $12.95 billing and I was told I have to call the company (Rocket Comm Svcs) directly at 1-888-300-0549. The message given at that location indicate it is an Eastern Zone location but little else.
I was able to reach a "live" person by the name of "Stacy" that apparently is aware of what is going on with this "scam' since she immediatedly agree to "cancel" the charges and advise me that it may take 2 month before the charges are eliminated.
I ask for a confirmation # for the cancellation and was given one. Please check your phone billing very careful, particularly if it comes from AT&T. I am now looking for another carrier for my phone service.
