We were approached in our driveway in Jan. 2008 by a young man selling magazines with a story of trying to earn points. His hard luck story he threw at us we now know was a lie. But, we thought at the time it is always good to help others. When it came time to write the check, the fast talker rushed through my questions about why so much money? Little did I know he took the liberty of signing me up for 2 years each for 3 magazines. $152.00.
Again I questioned... Got the hard luck story. My husband said just write the check.
Here it is Sept. 2008 no magazines. I have called this company 3 times, spoke to Carla Battle. Each time was promised Rodell Smith would send me my money. "Oh & he is not here call the 866-439-5451 number he will answer that number he has that phone" There is always a recording on that phone and he never answers. Carla Battle always says she's the only one there, everyone else is gone. Bunch of liars! How can they take peoples hard earned money, the consumer has the reciept number and all the facts and they get away with this. I am contacting Dept. Of Consumer affairs and the Florida Better Business Bureau. Hey, Mr Roedell Smith I am sure you dined out with my $152.00. Hope you got bad gas Mr. Roedell Smith!!
