I applied for a clerical position with National Home Employment Services who according to them contract home workers for some very well known companies throughout the United States.
I filled out their application and send along the required $29.95 processing fee. Within 10 business days I was to receive at least 10 job offers from the companies they represent.
Of course, you can guess what happened. They took my money and that was it! I have tried emailing them and calling the number listed on their webpage at http://applyhere. Cjb.net / but I have not received a single response.
I know it was a risk to apply with them in the first place but I was foolish enough to believe that they couldnt get away with listing all those well known and established companies without being shut down.
My goal now is to contact some of those very successful corporations and see if they know/contract work through NHES. If not, then maybe they will at least get them to remove their company name from their webpages so no one else will end up getting the shaft like me.
