I originally ordered and paid for two hand crafted wood Cesna Models on 1/14/08. Dialoge went back and forth and the order seemed to be processed accordingly. I wanted both models shipped before my dads birthday in April.
They apparently got behind becuase of a fire but guaranteed the order to be ready and shipped before the deadline. A week before the deadline they rushed out one of the Models that was specifically for my dad and were going to send the other later. I got the one model and it was totally backwards from what I wanted. The call number wasn't right, wrong propeller, etc.
I emailed them immediately and they admantally apologized and told me to keep the junk model with their compliments and would get BOTH models done and out to me before July. I emailed once or two a week for a month and I started getting no repsonse.
Finally the first week of July I got a response from Stuart saying his son had walked out on the business and left a lot undone. He was terrily sorry and was going to check the progress of my two models and get back to me. I haven't heard from him since. I've emailed him a hundred times and haven't heard a peep. I held out hope that I would get my models or that he would have the decency to credit my money back but nothing so far.
I finally filed a claim with Paypal and they closed the claim the same day saying it was past the 45 day limit and there was nothing they could do for me. So, now I'm out $300 with nothing to show for it and feel like I just got completey ripped off. I don't think allwoodwings.com was running a scam becuase I did receive A model, albeit it was all wrong, but it showed they did make decent models.
I just really wish Stuart would have decency to email me back or simply refund my money. This is total bush league.
