Consumer complaints discussions with the company have uncovered an ongoing commitment to total customer satisfaction. You can expect to have any questions or concerns that you have with them to be answered and resolved in a timely manner. They have shown us their customer service process, and it reflects a desire to serve customers, as well as fix problems.

The company's management specifically told us about how their job is to simplify lives and help people to live intelligently. The management really wants every person who buys a system to feel valued. The concern for each customer's experience starts at the top, and is reflected in the action of every employee they hire.

The company also works to monitor their sales and customer support calls to see how they can be improved. They use these calls as examples for employees in training. Currently, Vivint is working to make changes to their contracts to make things easier for their customers as they have found that many of their complaints stem from feeling misled or customers paid fees they did not feel they authorized.

APX Alarm Lie and cheat you. 3 day window? Provo Utah

The same thing happened to me. Phone calls when the tech was not even finished. APX alarm did a Sloppy set up. Salesman lied to me. He told me that he was doing a criminal check, since they could not install if I was one. Talked to neighbors and all 3 I spoke to said different things that the sales rep used in his tactics. I sent 2 faxes within 2 hours of installation to cancel. Called the salesman Adam and told him I was cancelling. I emailed company, no response besides automatic. Called the company and had them note the account that I cancelled. Sent a copy of the the receipt (signature required by APX) and the yellow copy of the receipt signed by me cancelling within the 3 day cool off period.

I have not gotten a response yet. I have been told it will take a couple of days for them to get the information from processing. There is no cancellation department. Well I take that back, all the reps told me there was. But, you can't talk to them. Reminds me of the wizard of oz.

Saw the same sales guy today. They stay in your neighborhood for about week. He asked what problems I had. I had plenty to tell him. Number one was that he never told me he was running a credit report, which he did. He apologized. However, damage has been done to my home from the install and the tech offered to clean up, but did not. After talking to my neighbors, and the research I have done and phone calls I have made. I can not nor will not recommend APX to anyone.

I asked the rep why they don't have a cancellation department and he refused to believe that. Even, after I used his phone to prove it. I told him that I wanted the equipment out of my home, and asked him to call someone with the company and get it out. He replied. I could call a tech and he could come get it. Then said it does not work that way. Once cancellation is done it would take a week and they could arrange a pick up.

As you can see I have gone to great leaps and bounds cancel and get their equipment back to them. Only time will tell what will happen. I do not trust this company and do not recommend them.
