$100,000 Prize Deposit $4888 check to receive $100,000

Received a letter dated July 24th from a Canadian Address:
VARI $ TURO
C.P./p.O. 8670
H3C 1K3

The letter claims that I had won $100,000 in a random sweepstake. They enclosed a check for $4,888 which is supposedly 3.9% of the winning for taxes. It requires that you call a number 1-416-825-1468 and request to speak to Sean Peter or Susane Anderson. They also included a claim number. The letter is signed by Cameron McCuaig, the Prize Co-ordinator.

I came across this site by searching for a few of the names and found other reports that this is a scam. Supposedly, if you deposit the check, they will electronically drain your account. The company name was different as was the amount of the prize and check, so I figured I would update with the current scam.
