Beware of this puppy breeder! We were sold a 5 month old English Cream Golden Retriever puppy who was contractually promised to eligible for limited-AKC registration. Despite months of promises that he would registered by the aforementioned breeder, he is still not. They claim a dispute with another breeder is at stake but we are starting to doubt the true lineage of this puppy. Their contract and website promised a healthy puppy. Ours came with diarrhea (shortly after found to have giardia), fleas, and severe skin allergies (not disclosed prior to purchase). They also claim and promise that the dog has had thousands of dollars of professional training and will be able to perform basic obedience skills. Our puppy jumped on people, pulled on the leash excessively, would not reliably lie down and tried to chew up car seats.
This disreputable breeder's track record of disputes with buyers and other breeders is coming to light. They are very nice when you are writing the check, then won't respond in a timely manner to concerns (and eventually stop responding at all except to the threat of legal action). Find another Golden Retriever breeder.
