I signed up for the GLDS marketing and recruiting because I was desperate after many months of joblessness. I did not do a good job of researching the background of the company. I have deep regrets now! The sales people are Harry Wagnerdean and Don King.

At first glance, they seem like respectable people. They are marketing experts because they got me to shell out about a thousand for a resume service. They will promise results to you and they will claim that they have helped many people. Currently, I see GLDS with positions listed on career builder. Check out the other rip off reports for details on how they find new victims the fraud arrangements.
Their website http://www.wagnerdean.com/contact.htm has testimonials. The website has changed to http://www.gldsjobs.com/services.htm. I wonder why... Maybe because so many people have noted negative feedbacks for their SCAMS!!!
I don't know about the integrity of the testimonies. I can say that they promised results but did not deliver. Stick with us because we have established recruiting networks, they claim. We market you to a few hundred companies a week. However, you will sign forms that state that you are not entitled to the specifics of the GLDS recruiting network. Is it because GLDS marketing does not have one? GLDS has a very established rip off scheme. If I owned the company, I would be proud. I would be ethically challenged but proud!
I misunderstood the GLDS guarantee when they gave it to me to sign. When you sign the service contract, they imply that you will get your full refund if they fail to market you. GLDS intentionally made the statement misleading. It will take its profit at your expense!!! The gentlemen cannot disclose how they came to bottom line refund amount. More that 7 months later, demanded a refund because I was still unemployed. They refunded less than 1/10th of my money. For a $1000, I get about $100 back. It is the most expensive resume service I have ever signed up with. I couldn't see any advantages offered by GLDS versus another resume service provider. The latter will surely cost less.
There are many negative reports on this company since 2005. That will tell you how people ranked the quality of GLDS services. GLDS can argue there are only a few negative reviews. That is due to the threats of legal matters. I know a few people who were so scared that they did not have the guts to post. They were victims of legal threats. I chose to remain anonymous due to legality.
GLDS is a rip off company. Since I am left with next to nothing of my $1000, I think I can help others with this review. If you have money to give away when you are out of the job, use GLDS. Else, get a service that is reputable. Promises are made, but you waive all your rights when you sign the GLDS contract. The firm will dismiss you with a refund after you sign a dismissal to protect them from any legal actions that you might take later. (If you have the money to get a lawyer after they have taken almost all of UR money) GLDS have professional sales people who will state and imply the benefits of the service. Only what is on paper will hold! Everything else is BS! GLDS will continue to grow and profit at the expense of victims of layoffs and unemployment. Cheers, GLDS marketing!!! Will you grow up and deliver what you promised without ripping of people?
If you have money to spare and must use GLDS marketing service, make sure your attorney is with you at the time of signing. That is the only way that I know for you not to get scammed by the company.
If you have been ripped off, post you situation so others will not have to suffer. Help take out the trash so honest business can make a difference!
