They have horrible business practices. They refuse to listen to us. They were rude and unwilling to take responsibility for their actions

Ferri Formals & Bridals, Inc. Were recommended to my friend as the place to get both dresses and tuxes for her bridal party. We thought everything was OK, and even though the bridesmaid dresses had not arrived we were repeatedly assured that everything would be fine and would arrive in time. So when the wedding was three weeks away, we were again assured that the dresses would arrive in time. Finally, after a lot of pressure from the brides parents, it was discovered the dress maker had gone out of business and these gowns were not ordered. They had instead ordered a different dress without consulting with the bride. This was of course unacceptable and after much pressure and shouting at their busiest time of day, the brides father was finally able to get out of the contract (can you believe they wanted to hold us to a contract that THEY had broken???) and get a refund for the deposits each of the bridesmaids had put on the dress. One can only conclude that the reason for this was so that they can pawn off some reject dresses to the bridesmaids at the last minute.instead we decided to go with someone else for the bridesmaid dresses. However, this shop was still in charge of the brides gown and the tuxes.

Thankfully, the bride's dress was fine and beautiful. So we waited for the tuxes, and waited, and waited some more and we assured they would be fine and arrive on time. They were supposed to be in on Tuesday, they were not. We had to wait until after 4:30 PM on Wednesday. This wedding was on a Friday. Two days. They finally arrived and the groomsman went in to pick them up. The lovely bridal shop insisted everyone pay before they even try them on. Of course, they did not fix right and everyone needed alterations. To be fair, that is not abnormal, what is abnormal is that instead of measuring us again, they tried to do the alterations by eye and they did that over and over again. And each time they did, they did not get it right. Either the shirt sleeves were too long, the button on the collar wasnt right, one pant leg was longer than the other. They were unable to get rid of a crease in several jacket sleeves. The groomsman and fathers went in two groups over two days and each group spent over two hours each on the fitting.in all, there were 8 men who had ordered tuxes. Each we found an imperfection they were quick to say there wasnt one. On the second day, they tried to kick us out of the store. A groomsmans fiancee was quick to point out that each one was spending nearly 200 dollars on a tux rental and we wanted to be sure it was right so they need to give us time to be sure it is right. You would think a bridal shop would understand this.

As if this all was not enough - one of the guys got the wrong size shirt. The arms were too short. Their solution was to replace the shirt with one that wasnt even close. Wrong color, wrong style, it wasnt an option, but this was their solution.

It took a lot of forceful convincing to eventually make them agree to order a new shirt and over night it, they agreed to deliver the shirt to the hotel where we were going to change. To our surprise the shirt delivered to the hotel was the wrong style, wrong color yet again. As if they did it on purpose. They even refused to replace the shirt with the right one. So one of our guys had to wear a shirt that was too small, because he couldnt wear the wrong style shirt.

They failed to include cufflinks for the grooms father and after telling us repeatedly they were included and we just needed to check the pockets again, they were persuaded to deliver a set to the hotel ASAP the afternoon of the wedding.

This was the worst experience dealing with any retail store. Ive had problems before with other retail stores, however, they were all willing to rectify the situation with money back, replacement or any other way. Ferri Formals was not so willing to accommodate. It was ridiculous. I would never recommend this business to anyone.
