I had been doing some websurfing for grants, over a year ago, so I could go back to school and pay my bills when I came across Grant Search. I looked it over and it sounded good, but I continued to search. Within two days, I got an email from them and I read it; it was for a informative cd. This was supposed to be free plus shipping. Again, it didn't sound too bad, so I requested it.
After it arrived, I decided that I didn't want to be involved, so I called and asked to cancel any further service. Since it's been so long ago, I don't remember who I talked to or which gender.
Now comes and I'm preparing for taxes, and I review my paypal account. Something doesn't look right; there's reappearing charges for three different accounts. This goes back over a year! I went back through my paypal history to January and found 25 charges for $29.95; 23 charges for $7.95; and 27 charges for $5.95! When calculated all out it comes to a grand total of $1092.25!! From January through February. After I asked to cancel.
I'm flabergasted! How can a company do this? Why have they done it to so many people? How can I get my $1092.25 back? What can be done? Can anyone help me?
