I discovered a $9.95 fraudulent charge to my debit account today by a website called gpnethelp.com. Upon googling it, I found it to be a dating website based in Florida!
I also found tons of others who had similar charges, so this is a big alert to everyone to keep an eye on your account and check for charges from gpnethelp.com.
First, I called my bank and had them cancel my card. Then, I called the company customer service number-apparently it is a separate customer service company that provides services for numerous websites. They said they would process a refund. We'll see if it actually happens. They asked me if my name was LAWANDA GRILL?! Apparently that is the name the person who charged my card used.
Watch out!
