The company I work for has been order items from ABC Distributing for years. We placed a holiday order on November 6th, 07 with everything stating "in stock". We were told, via mail on Nov 20th, to prepay since it was a big order. OK, we did that and today, December 6th, I was told that most of the items we ordered are either canceled or back ordered.
It was under my impression from previous orders that once you order the items, they are waiting for you and if they were not, ABC should have said so. Now most of our items won't be shipped till Dec 16th which, I feel, will not be here by Christmas although they claim it will. This added stress to us because nobody will pick up the phone and when I email I do not get a response for at least a week, sometimes longer! Does anyone work at ABC?
I have faxed, emailed and called customer service trying to cancel part of my order since it will not get here in time or only half of it is available. Will ABC send it and we will have to return the items and spend out money for their lack of customer service? Why can't ABC email everything - it would be quicker and better customer service, that's for sure. I don't know if I should Christmas shop for the items I might not get in time...
This is the last time I purchase something from ABC!
