I received my usual credit card bill in the mail, only to find that a subscription to Reader's Digest was charged to me for $24.98. I called RD to say that I never ordered or authorized this subscription or charge to my credit card. I got the big runaround and was told that I had to call another 800 number because this subscription was obtained/charged to me by an *agent* of RD. I called, got a machine which tried to sell me more things repeatedly (!!) and never got to speak to a real person. This company is somehow obtaining consumers' credit card numbers and charging magazine subscriptions to them. Be careful and watch your credit card billings!
