Letter received on the mail announcing honor registry ripoff

Today I received a letter on the mail from a person named Jennifer A. Gonzalez dated July 31. The letter was informing me that I was being considered for inclusion into the 2008 Cambridge Who's Who Among Executive and Professional Women Honors Edition section of the Registry.

Wow! The first thing that came to mind was: how did they get my name? I became very suspicious of this letter and proceeded to check online for any information regarding the company and this so called Who's Who Honors Edition Registry.

I found this web site (usacomplaints.com) with all these comments and description about the Who's Who scam. Thanks to all of you that posted your comments/reports I found out what I needed. I am not even going to try to submit my personal/professional information. I'll pass this information to my peers and friends so that they are aware about this fraud scheme.
