A Student who is trying to earn money supposedly comes to your door and is super casual trying to sell you a magazine subscription. They sit and chat and try to make you feel comfortable. I order Cosmo and sure enough, 90-120 days, I never receive the magazine. This happened two summers ago, but it is still ticks me off from time to time.
You attempt to contact the phone number for PMA, Inc. And it is disconnected, then it directs you to another phone number where someone is only in the office Mon, Wed, and Fri from 8am-4pm. Yet, if you leave a message, like they request, they never call you back. From my experience, I do not even think someone is in the office at the times stated above.
It is hard to tell who the company even is on the order form, it states that the salesperson is a contractor for Entrepeneurs Across America, then the company name is PMA, Inc. And then the website is Thanks for the Points! Who knows, I just know, I will never purchase something from some poor sould trying to earn money for college. My theory, is to get a real job and pay for college and continue to pay for college via loans when you are done, just like I did.
