I had entered my information to this site MONTHS ago. I had a 7 day trial, never used it and never activated my account by subscribing.
I got a call TODAY from a casting director named Edward Hill from them. Talked me up about my future career and potential — while constantly asking if I have ever acted or modeled professionally. At the end he tells me in order to work with me, I must activate my account immediately. He immediately started pushing my credit card number IMMEDIATELY — over the phone as well. I told him that I could not at the moment and would call him back.
My family is well in this industry and I know for a fact that no manager, agent, casting director or anyone ever asks for money upfront. So I search for information about the site and found this one.
EXPLORE TALENT IS A SCAM. You never have to pay money upfront for an agent when pursuing this industry. They make their money by approximately 10% of your earnings.
