I started working for Cincinnati Design, they sell perfume and cologe. It is a branch of Scentura Creations. I would travel every weekend and pay for everything myself and work from 9am to usually 1pm, there have been times when I would have to work 24 hours! This is because if I did not hit my target sales my so called boss would go balistic. Throw things, scream, punch holes in the wall. I would go out everyday - no matter what the weather - and try to sell perfume. They never gave me a paycheck, the little amount of money that I did make went to gas and food.
All this because we were supposed to get our own office and be rich! Then I got into what we called a mini office, where people would work for me, we had one girl and I was to make money off of her sales, which I have still yet to see. We took a trip to Las Vegas, and Denny (boss) was holding our money, he gave us $60
to get there (gas) and $60 back. He still owes me $80 for that.
He claimed he was robbed, and of course one of us (employees) stole from him-yeah right.
We had to pay rent on my mini office, it was around $230, Denny said he will pay this, but I recently got a letter demanding payment. I directed it to Cincinnati Design. I told them that was his responsibility.
I owe him $4o for a blown tire, so adding that he owes me at least $600. But I want the money that I had to spend for gas, food, and all those Long hours I worked to make him money! I worked there for 2 months. 7 days a week, usually around 12 hours Sunday - Wednesday and about 16 hours a day Thursday - Saturday.
That's about 96 hours a week. This is unbelievable I know, but it the absolute truth. Let's say I only made $7 an hour, he would owe me... $ 672/week x 8 (2 months) = $5296 $600 =$5896 And I want EVERY last penny back.
My last day, we had just got back from Vegas, and I was out working for the day, when I got back to the office no one had really sold that much, most of us did not sell even 1 bottle.
He got really mad and started screaming and throwing things, he kicked a huge hole in the wall and threw a metal chair right past my head, threw water bottles at windows, called us losers and other names. He made me hold a garbage can, why - I don't know. Enough was enough! Someone could have gotten hurt.
Please help me get my $ 5896 back. And help stop him from doing this to others!
