Along with others, I received a notice from this company for a Fingerhut account I never had. They have a last payment date of April 9,1996 on this account... 11 years ago!?! How can a company be allowed to "make up" accounts and debt on individuals. I had planned to dispute the debt but after reading several of the other notices I would like information on how to respond before I do. I did check my credit report for all 3 bureaus and fortunately this is not there. If a lawsuit is initiated against this company, please include me.
