The summer of 2006 a male and female student came to my door. They told me that they were selling magazines to try to raise money for a trip (I think to Mexico). They said that they were communications students and were very "bubbly" and even asked if they could have a glass of water. Anyway, I ended up renewing a 2 year subscription to Popular Woodworking for my husband.
When the renewal did not show up by January, I called the number and it was out-of-service. This really makes me mad. I work hard for my money.
I filed a claim with the USPS and did some searching on the Better Business Bureau website. I found that two employees of this company are April Lamb and Chuck Turner. They had an e-mail address listed [email protected] I am going to try sending an e-mail. I also found, by doing a google search, this "myspace" website. Www.myspace.com/bskdave This guy says he is a manager of Silver Hill. I'm going to e-mail him too. I am enranged that so many of you have been ripped-off too.
