As with many common capitalist corporate thefts the charges are not listed [on phone booth] nor told to you before connection is made, eg: 'the charges for this call will be... Do you want to proceed?
Being a fisherman I should have recalled the possibility for bait and switch, but since I don't like cell phones, I usually mark in a region the low cost phone locations.
This day I had to make an emergency call and needed the first phone I could find. I had money to pay for the call but no change!
To add insult to injury it was too late, [making the call of no value] AND expensive.
This is in fact the most expensive phone call I have ever made, and refuse to pay for it. If the company wants to bill me under $3.00 i'll accept. Otherwise I'll be happy to see them in court.
