OK this is how it goes!!! There were 3 puppies in Candy's litter 1 male that is doing good, Candy's Sister that Mr. Canterberry kept and she died at 10 months old!!! She died from the RED mange or and was to weak to handle all the drippings!!! I called Mr. Canterberry's Vet. Today and talked with him twice. The first time I spoke with Dr. Hammond he told me Canterberrys dog don't carry RED mange. I emailed all the pictures of Candy and he called me after looking at them.
Mr. Canterberry had come to see Dr. Hammond and had left. Mr. Canterberry called me when he got home and told me about Candy's sister Little Dolly and that she died at 10 months old. I called Dr. H back to find out more about the death of Little Dolly and what happened to her. Dr. H told me Dolly died because she had the RED mange and was too week to handle the meds. And she strong dipping. WELL this has been held from me until today!!! I have a VERY sick dog and I'm out of $1,250.00 plus gas!!! I don't think at this point I even have to test this dog for RED MANGE!!! BUT I guess I still have to prove this to you.
I did not ask for this and bought this dog only because she was a chocolate off of CoCo. Plain and simple that is the Only reason I bought her and to breed her. I know you don't feel bad in any way but this is a very sad case!!! I did not come to buy a dog with RED mange!!! This dog should have NEVER been sold. This has cost me the dog and all the money on vet. Bills. There is NO way around this dog having RED mange. Candy HAS RED mange!!! I am out the dog, the $650.00, $100.00 in gas plus all the time it will take to care for her in my home. This will take a LONG time and she can still die. I am sick over this and did not know all the info. About the litter and the sister dieing!!! AT 10 months old!
I have been through h*l over this dog and I have had the 2 people that are responsible for bringing her into this world just think OH well tuff luck!!! Mr. Canterberry told me that you said you would not give me a chocolate and for sure not AKC because that is not what I bought from you. Well Betty I have paid the price of a chocolate AKC very nice dog. I did not buy a dog from Canterberry I bought a dog from you. You registered Candy in your name like you were keeping her for yourself on 3-14 so you did own Candy and sold her for some reason 3 months after you registered her in your name. You told me you just don't want CKC but you own a Maltese stud that is CKC. Well something wrong here! I am out all this money and I still don't have a dog. I will test Candy next week and spend another $100.00 for proof for you. I am very upset and you could care less about me or this poor dog you had in your hands for a year. That's very sad and what goes around comes around. You may think you don't have any responsibility in this but you do. I will only deal with you then you will have to deal with canterberry. You were the owned of Candy no matter how you got her and you did sell her to me. I will keep all medical records and pictures up to date for when I need them. Dr. H really wanted to see Candy but Dr. W has been her Dr. And saved her life. Candy was never bitten in the face. It was the sores from the red mange and she rudded her eye and injured it!!! NO Bite's and will get Vet. Proof. I assure you that is not dog bite's over her entire body. IT'S RED MANGE!!! Sad how cold you have been to someone you sold a dog to and cold about a dog that you owned and raised for a year. You have not called even once and tried my act like I done something wrong because you kept that hair before I got her.
Yes you do have picture and so do I. But that don't matter because she HAS RED mange no matter how she looked when I picked her up from you. OH I wish you had NEVER sold me this dog either then I would still have all the money I wasted on a Mange infested dog the could die and can never be bred if she does live!!! I just don't feel guilty because she was in good shape when she left here and I wish she hadn't left she would not be in the shape she is now Like I said you are MORE than welcome to call my Vet. Dr. W. I'm sure you won't call because you do know this is the truth. I really hope we can settle that out of court.

No I told Me. Canterberry she brokw out a little on her head and around her mouth not long after she was 6 weeks old. I bathed her and dipped her in paramite dip and her hair came back. Did not have any more problem with her hair it got pretty thick. I figure the dip may have got the mites that causes a certain kind of mange but not the red mange. I would have taken her to the vet if it had happened again. I always do what I think is right and most times more. If this had been completely my dog I would have offered to do more. I think I have done more than a lot of breeders would have offered to give you another puppy when I get one or just sell one and give you the money. I offered to take her back when you said she was circling and you said you wanted to keep her. I believe if Cocoa had the red mange I would have heard from someone by now. I just don't feel guilty because she was in good shape when she left here and I wish she hadn't left she would not be in the shape she is now.
