I have been a captive of Vonage for two years. After my initial one year I attempted at least as early as June of last year to disconnect. After email, phone conversations that led me to believe it was over - a bank statement would come and there it would be again, another charge to my account. Today once more they have claimed by phone and email and also online to have disconnected my service. I hope it's real this time. I have requested refund but I know that it's a lost cause. Avoid this company at all costs. I would almost go as far as calling what they do 'organised crime'.
