Promises not kept a company that lies and won't stand behind what it sells. Too bad for you. Ripoff

I purchased Correct Deck materials from Home Depot in Centerville Ohio. This product was said to be carefree and was recommended by Home Depot and the installer they said to use.

This deck had a cost of $4000.00 but was supposed to be almost carefree and would keep its beauty with only a 10% fade.

I used the installer that they suggested and bought this product. Within two months the deck was covered with mold.

I called and complained in Sept, 05 but never heard back. The deck has faded to three different colors.in April I knew the payment time was coming and wanted the problem taken care of so I called Corporate Customer Service was given a number for the complaint and told to expect a call from the local store.

Eric Kauffman, the manager for Commercial Sales called and came to look at the deck. He was very sympathetic said it looked very bad and he would not want to pay for this deck himself, so he moved the payment date until June 07 so that things would be taken care of before the payment was made. Correct Deck came and said it was just dirty, so I scrubbed the deck with no success. They then said to use pool shock, but this is very dangerous and I didn't want this poured into the ground around my plants and my pets. They then gave me another cleaner which the instaler came and tried, all it did was change the color but the mold came back. This is supposed to be an easy to product to take care of. It is now three different colors covered with mold spots.

I also had a Corian countertop installed at the same time from Home Depot and promptly paid for this product. I have purchased many thing from this store in the last five years of redoing this home.

Eric seemed so nice and promised me he would see that Correct Deck would stand behind the product and Home Depot would take care of this complaint.

After eight months of phone calls from me (most not returned), and promises made about Taking up the old deck and replacing it with a better material. I was told on Nov. 16 that they would not do anything because Correct Deck would not.

I didn't purchase from Correct Deck I purchased from HOME DEPOT.

I called corporate customer services and was told that they did not care. If the local manager said he would not do anything then they stood behind him.

Eric Kaufman led me on for eight months with always saying next week I would hear from them and I never did. Corporate also promised to move this on up the ladder and they would get back with me in a week or so BUT they never called either.

I have tried to be patient because Eric Kaufman was so nice and promised results.

Yesterday he was not so nice. I even called the CEO Robert Nardelli's office and was told that they didn't care and would not even listen to me. ROBERT NARDELLI MAKES MILLIONS OF DOLLARS A YEAR, HE DOESN'T HAVE TIME FOR LOWLY CUSTOMERS.

We can not afford to waste $4000.00 can you? Please help!!
