Edebit Pay - Acclaim - Sterling Master card is a SCAM RIPOFF

Today, I discovered a suspcious debit of $159.95 from my Bank of America debit card. Upon investigation, I learned of a company called Edebit Pay that claims I authorized payment of a secured debit card online. They claim they sent me confirmation via email. There was no email and I never authorized this transaction. I have several debit and credit cards and would have no use for a $159.95 secured debit card. They finally produced what is claimed to be a email receipt. I called my bank to begin an investigation. Bank of America (a fabulous banking institution, fyi), stated that they are aware of the fraudulent, deceptive activity this company. There have been many efforts locally to shut down this business. The busines is very clever by printing disclaimers on their websites (there are several) and on their voice "on-hold" messages. The fact that the Bank was willing to return my moeny after formal investigation begins indicates that this company is definitely fraudulent.

The Bank said they receive dozens of complaints daily about this company. There is great detail that I would love to provide anyone that needs help fighting this company. Bank of America even told me it would be vanity to try to fight them because they are very clever.instead they will fight for me and make sure I receive refund. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB had received 174 other compalints about this company. Even if you choose "cancel", the company will continue to debit your account. They tell you you had three days cancel. However, most bank statements don't reflect debit for three days (the payment is usually on hold for three. If you do not know or did not authorize the payment, how would you know to cancel within three days if it does not show up on bank account statement? They have gotten this down to a science. I am determined to fight to win. Please email me immediately if you are still trying to fight this company for a refund. Let's put them out of business. I am a single mother of four children. I would never pay $159 for a debit card. I am college educated network engineer. I pay all my bills online. I am not stupid. I would not have made this mistake. They are clever schemers. Again, let's put them out of business.

Thank you for your support.
