Tuesday's Girls
Ripoff! Took more than the standard agency commission that our contract specified

I used to be a model that was represented by Tuesday's Girls. They seemed to get me job offers here and there so I thought that they were on the up and up. There were a few models that I recognized on the site and wanted to achieve what they had in the modeling world.

I thought this was a reputable company so I started forwarding all of my bookings for them to sort out. I booked a job thru one of my referrals and shot a print job. I also booked another promotion as a result of my sending my work leads to them.

Unfortunately, I found out by talking to one of the clients that this agency had charged him double what I got paid to work that day. The agency pocketed the extra cash and told me they had taken out their 15% commission.instead of taking 15% like our contract had stipulated, they generously helped themselves to a 50% commission.

On my other job, they also took way more than the 15% that the contract we had stated. I found out about this after the fact and at this point there is nothing that I can do now unless I was to sue them.

Both clients complained about their agencies professionalism. I felt a bit responsible as I had referred both of my clients their way. Live and learn I guess.

DO NOT trust your bookings with Tuesday's Girls unless you want them stealing from the top of the money that is rightfully yours. If you insist on being represented by them, remember that they are not to be trusted. Don't be a sucker! Make sure you oversee your deals and take a more active role. Don't just accept what they say you are getting paid. Ask questions. Find out from the clients what they paid to get you there. Their answers just may shock you!

My hope for this agency is that they will see that it is illegal to defraud their models out of their hard earned money. They should stop scamming their models because that is wrong! Word of mouth gets around and reputation is everything! I've just noticed that they dropped three of their biggest names recently. Hopefully, those girls got wise to their tricks and gave them the boot!
