Ripoff, run, run, away - worst customer service

You know when you try to be right in life and don't take advice because this could never happen to you... Well I read a report on this site and really did not believe it... Until it just happened to me.

On June 25, I thought I would give overnightprints.com a try at printing my company's letterhead and envelopes... Because another site stated that they were under new management. Well, I thought I would at least get the items within the same week since I did not purchase their expedited service. I called them on July 5th after not receiving the order and the customer service person that they have to "wait for the glue to dry" on my envelopes before they shipped but I should definitely have it on July 7th.

I needed them for a critical mailing that I was sending out to adverstise the launch of my new business and wanted to look professional. Well, did not get the stuff on July 7th so I called again on July 10th (since I did no think they worked on the weekend. Still no shipping info. Sent them email on the 12th asking for my money back - low and behold, I was getting it on the 13th and the 14th.

Well it finally arrived and believe it or not, they shipped me the wrong stuff. They shipped a company's items Cerritos, CA. I don't even know where that is but I called the customer service and asked for my money back. They said that they are not giving me my money back until I spend more of my money to mail this other company's items back to them. SPEND MORE MONEY - NOT THAT DUMB!

It seems that I cannot get my money back. Spoke to the owner of R&L Properties whose letterhead I received - he said he would call the company. Well no response again from overnightprints.com and when I told them that I would put this all out here for everyone to read - they told me to go right ahead.

So I can admit, I was wrong to think things would be different for me - the company sucks and their customer service is very, very poor.

All I want is my money back and not have to spend another penny on this stuff that I have in my office.

I also should charge them for opportunity lost but how do I place a value on this? Someone help! And by the way - don't get fooled or be foolish about overnightprints.com. Overnightprints means never getting your stuff!
