Hi. My name is Nicole. I am going back to last months bill when I describe my situation. Ok. Here goes. Let's see if you people think I am write at not paying my full bill.
April's bill was $109.39. I payed that with a prepaid visa card. I had to do this over the credit cards website. It was an online check and it takes 7-10 days to process.
When I payed that bill, it did not process right away. So, Nextel considered it late and upped my bill $112.70. And i called them on that and complained.
They said ok and turned my phone back on, but they upped it again to $222.09 because it still did not process. My payment of $109.39 was recieved on the 25th of April. They did not erase the amount of $112.70. That had to be paid by the 10th of this month.
Which I do not agree on. Once my payment of $109.39 was recieved, my balance should have went down to Zero. It did not go down to Zero. My new current charges are $117.94. Which would be this months bill. Since I did not pay the $112.70 my bill again went up and is now $230.64. I am not going to pay that because once the payment of $109.39 was recieved, I should have had a balance of $0.00.
I called them again today and they said that I have to pay the $112.70 to have my service turned back on. And then I have to pay the full $230.64. I do not agree with this.
I do not understand how they can make me pay all this when last months bill was paid. It's not my fault. They should have corrected my bill once they got the payment of $109.39. What can I do about this. I need my phone. And I do not have the money to pay the full $230.64. I told them I will pay the $117.94 which would be this months bill. They said no. Can someone help me.
