Adkids and there employees are professional scam artists so please stay away from them. Flushed over $600 down the drain on these scammers
This company and it's associates prey's on parents by first sending you a letter to call them, which by the way is mass mailed to everyone with a baby. (My dog even got one by mistake)
We met a Mr. Donald Joseph at this agency's fancy office in Manhattan. There was people lined up there like they were giving stuff away. We waited of course, we meet with Donald Joseph where he began to spew his garbage out. He pointed out many poster sized ads hanging around the office, claiming to be clients/models of AdKids.
During the interview process were told that our son had to be well behaved with other people so he walked him around the office in his arms (looking back I laugh hysterical now-what a joke!!! This is where it gets even better. He showed us all these cards of kids and information about them (These are the cards I never got) We were told we would be receiving these cards of our child. He then proceeded to tell us that he loved our son and that we would get tons of calls and work. Next, he went on to discuss the photography sessions shedule and that we would need photos every 6 months for the next 5 years and now he slipped the cost in. He said the payment would be to cover the costs of the photos but we still needed to give the photographer $10 for the sitting fee. (what bs). We wanted time to think about and he got all defensive then, claiming that we would get "tons of calls". And "do it for your child's career". He said he couldn't waiste time with us if we couldn't make decisions on the spot.
So unfortunately we signed up with this scammer and co. Adkids.
We scheduled our photo shoot with them and when we got there there was no photographer even around. Donald Joseph was scurrying around like the little rat that he is. Finally, 1 1/2 hours later some guy shows with a digital camera. Babies are screaming everywhere and finally it was our turn to go into the photo room. We get in there and it is some second rate photographer taking pictures of our son who is sitting on a cardboard box with a dirty sheet as a backdrop. What an absolute disgrace!!! I argued with Donald Joseph about this for another 10 minutes but got nowhere. I was furious, demanded my money back and Got Nothing.
To This day we still have no photographs, cards, appointments, calls, not even real photograph, All I have is the credit card bill and aggrevation,
So please somehow find this report before you get scammed by them!!!
