I wish everyone to take a look at this if you live near the Southern California area. If you are looking for a modeling manager, do not! I repeat do not go here!
Alan Brenner who manages Southern California Professional Modeling Management, is a perverted old man who preys on young women ages 15-35.
I first signed with him last summer when I first started modeling and everything seemed ok at first until he started acting out weird habits.
First. He would accompany you in the changing room and actually watch you change.in the beginning you think this is awkward at first but in my case being a minor at the time thought this to be a little weird and perverted.
Next, he will hire you and a couple of his models from his site to model in a "Glamour Bash" or just "Fashion Bash" for the teens. These events were held in his private studio and many of the models had to deal with perverted and un professional photographers who take pictures of you for hours for free. They could hire you after to shoot for compensation but half of them barely do. The only models that get hired are the ones who pose playboy style nudity. It's degrading.
The reason for my complaint is to not ward off young women and men to not sign with him but to warn girls like me in my situation who don't want to do playboy and stuff magazines. Alan says he never allows any model to shoot with Hustler and other pornographic mags but models have been pushed to doing so.
One very disturbing inncident a model told me just a few days ago is that she had to spend the night at the studio and she woke up to Alan mast*bating over her right next to her. I think that is completely un-professional and really nasty.
Don't let Alan give you a spray tan. He will do this with you completly naked and make you bend over to let him spray you by your *hole. Please don't!
Mothers of teen daughters! Keep your beautiful and innocent aspiring model away from here. Your daughter will start doing fashion and such but by the time she is 18 she will be pushed to do lingerie, then implied nudity, and then it goes down from there.
Please take my experience and not let this happen to you. I am no longer signed with this company for these reasons. Contract or no contract, a grown man is not supposed to watch naked girls in dressing rooms especially if they are minors and all the other incidents listed.
