Integretel has fraudulently charged me over $30 via my Sprint local phone bill. Of course I never made any 1-900 calls from my line, so I called Integretel's Customer Service number. Before I was able to finish my question, the rep started reading her script in her condescending drone. I was chided several times for interrupting to ask a question. I also noticed I was on speakerphone. She told me that I made 900# data calls via my internet. And after her long spiel, she asked me how she could help me. It was clear I wasn't going to get anywhere with Integretel. She suggested I get all 900#s blocked with Sprint.
So then I put in a complaint with the FCC and sent them a copy of my bill. They emailed me back right away, wanting more information. I recommend that anyone reading this who has had a similar issue with Integretel also lodge a complaint at www.fcc. Gov/slamming. It is sure to help, since Integretel has been heavily fined in the past for such abuses.
I now have 900#s blocked on my line and Sprint has disputed the charges on my behalf. Still, I wonder how Sprint even allows Integretel to be associated with them at all! The Sprint rep told me that this happens frequently to customers who use dial-up to connect to the internet.
