I recently purchased 4 mccr wood tokens from liberty pawn in mesa, az. They showed me a copy from a railroad collectable book listing the rare tokens with the retail value. I purchased 4 of them for $100.00. They still had another one in the display case. A friend of mine took 1 token to a token expert at a coin shop in oregon. The man told him the token is counterfit, and the guy making them is selling them everywhere. He also said the guy was under investigation by the FBI. I called liberty pawn and asked for my money back and they refused to refund my $100.00. Being as this is a rare and unusual case, I feel they should refund my money. I need help with this and hope someone out there will contact me. These tokens were suppost to be made in the mid 1800's, and are quite rare. They were given by the engineer to the person selling cord wood along the railroad. Then the seller would redeem them for cash at the railroad office. Liberty pawn is at 22 N. Dobson in Mesa, AZ.
