Phone scam

I was contacted by jhon at work source saying he had extra work in the area doing work on forclosed houhes in my area but i had to pay for a background check witch i have done before for service magic and it was lagit. So i sent the money via check router no. Then i didn, t here from them for a week i finely got ahold of them i told i wanted a refund because i thought they were a bogus co. All theay do is rout you to a another ext. Till you hang up. I wish i knew about this site first If you pay with a credit card you can dispute it.
