Upon applying for this position, I received a phone call immediately telling me that they were extremely interested in my resume for an "ambassador" position for Children's International and would like to have me come in for a job interview as soon as possible. They even sent me a link to the Children's international site.
As a recent college grad who has been out of work for six months, I was very excited to finally have an interview, woke up early, dressed up in my best suit and arrived 30 mins early, with resume' in hand. To my surprise I was also surrounded by a waiting room full of similarly eager applicants. I was greeted by a receptionist who handed me a simple one page application on a clip board and asked me to attach a copy of my resume when I was finished.
While I was filling out the application, I noticed the room began to thin out, and none of the applicants ever returned back out into the lobby.
