Scam

Some people think all Penny Auctions are a scam, but they aren't! I've lost count, but I have dealt with at least 50 and so far have never been cheated. You can't win all the time, but I have managed to put away a few Christmas gifts and get a few things for myself that I otherwise couldn't afford. At first I liked Powerhousebids, then they kept shutting down for work or technical problems. They were down for quite awhile one time and I kept checking, as I had 150 bids in my account. When they came back online finally I had a banner day, 3 very nice wins. But once again they declared problems, shut down and announced wins/bids would be back in accounts with 24 hours. Again I was checking my account daily to see what was happening. My wins remained declared as such in my account. I had already paid s/h fees. Then suddenly s/h was refunded on PS3 and $250.00 Vis card I had won, but not on the 100 bid bid pack. Not thrilled but I should at least get back the bids I had used if there was indeed a technical problem plus the 100 bids for the bidpack. NOT!!! Nothing still a month later, my numerous emails ignored. Even chat put me off saying they were too busy, write a note, which was also ignored.
I saw on another site the owner, David, was looking for affiliates. I wrote to him personally, suggesting decent customer service to his existing customers to bring him more business. Still no response. On that same site others told him to use shills and bots.in my personal opinion he has resorted to that, as I have done searches on 40 screen names from this site and not a one has anything listed. Most active penny auction bidders, like myself have plenty of other sites that show up connected with their screen names. It looks fishy to me. I do know at one time between shut downs I finally figured out a pattern - as long as I bid the auctions kept going, whenever I quit, it ended right there and then. Too many times to be coincidence. I don't like being cheated, but being ignored to boot is the straw that breaks the camels back. Please don't fall victim to this crooked Penny Auction, there are so many good ones out there. Just be sure to read, study and learn what you're doing before you jump in.
