My Husband and I attended a Home Show in Los Angles and were approached by a woman by the name of Sherri sho asked us where we went on our last vacation. Trying not to be rude, we nswered her and she went on about how her company, Goldrush Getaways can get us great deals on all sorts of Travel. She gave us all kinds of examples like, round trip air to Hawaii for 199 each, cruises for 10.00 per day etc. She also offered us a complimentary 7 day cruise is we agreed to listen to what they had to offer. She told us that this was not timeshare or as she likes to think or it, slimeshare. We took the bait and signed up. When we got home, we carefully read the back side of the sheeet we had signed and discovered that this compimentary 7 day cruise was anything but complimentary. Turned out you could only take it durring the winter time, (Nov - jan) excluding all the holdiays. You could take it other times but surcharges would apply. Additionally you had to pay 350.00 per couple in taxes too. Sherri never mentioned any of this and we think that if you have to fool people in order to get their business you are a bad person.
