I have received a 2015 W-2 from Brown Qualified Settlement Fund, 225 State Road, Media, PA 19063. I have never worked for such a place nor have I ever received any type of compensation for anything, that I am aware of! I have no idea how they got my address and my correct Social Security number! I am not going to use this on our tax returns because I believe it must be fake. There is an Control number 05 1244 CL 12/SKR; an Employer's FED ID number: 27-0483349. Employer's State ID number: 27-0483349 000 6. It claims wages of $24.73, SS witheld $1.53, and medicare witheld .36. IL State income tax witheld .93. I don't want to get in trouble with the IRS! I am thinking perhaps I recieved a W-2 before and may have reported it to the IRS, but am not at all sure about that. I feel absolutely confident this year I didn't receive a check from them.
